I have been a Speech-Language-Feeding Pathologist for over 29 years and an Orofacial Myologist since 1997. I did my original training in Orofacial Myology with one of the founding members of the IAOM, Galen Peachey, and then became an associate editor of the journal for the years 1998-2000. In 2015, I realized that the field had changed greatly and decided to do a refresher course with Sandra Holzman. I became extremely interested in lingual ties and took Autumn Reed-Henning’s TOTS course and am now working as a team with the Hudson Valley Tongue Tie Center. My current practice is located in the Tongue Tie Center where I evaluate and treat a variety of patients, from pre and post lingual, labial and buccal release, feeding disorders, orofacial myofunctional disorders to articulation and phonological disorders. I also work in NYS Early Intervention and specialize in NICU graduates who are newly discharged and need help with breast and bottle feeding as well as toddlers who have a variety of feeding disorders. In my spare time, I love to play drums in a blues band, bike, crochet, swim and spend time with family and friends.
