Function Matters Orofacial Myology
Shavaun graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at the University of Alberta in 2012. She was introduced to Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in a hygiene study club in 2018 and was immediately drawn to it. She loves dental hygiene because she can connect with patients and educate them about their oral health, but the field of Orofacial Myology has transformed the way she sees dental hygiene. She loves having the ability to connect the oral dysfunctions and health with the whole body and putting the puzzle pieces together.
