I’ve been a RDH for 40 years, and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy has been the profession of my dreams. Dental Hygiene was a great profession from which to spring board to Myofucntional Therapy. I have pursued additional education in modalities such as Restorative Breathing and Neuro- Reflex Integration to assist my patients with their progress in correcting their Orofacial Myofuncional Disorders (OMD’s). These modalities correct some of the etiologies that create or retain OMD’s if not addressed. I have had the pleasure of being part of the faculty for AEI (ALF Educational Institute) teaching how Orofacial .Myofunctional Therapy brings the team approach in preventing and correcting the functional and postural aspects of OMD’s and to help prevent poor cranial facial development if caught early.
I’ve been a Scout Leader for 25 years and managed soccer teams for 20 years. I enjoy working with all ages and I am goal oriented. Seeing my patients conquer their OMD’s is always a privilege. Working with patients to achieve success is the bonus.
