Xuan-Thu is an orofacial myofunctional therapist, registered dental hygienist, and a clinical dental hygiene instructor at Sacramento City College. She is the owner and president of Breathe Wellness Boutique and Comprehensive Dental Hygiene Services. Her vision and enthusiasms are to provide a gateway for the highest level of comprehensive care and education for clients, students, and colleagues. She collaborates with multi-disciplinary professionals in the dental and medical fields to fully integrate total health and wellness for her clients. As an OMT, she assesses the breathe, posture, mouth seal, and swallow functions and dysfunctions to help her clients achieve good breathing, sleeping, and muscle habits. These therapies allow her clients to live healthier lives with less chronic pain. As an RDH, Xuan-Thu utilizes periodontal laser therapies to minimize inflammatory markers that contribute to systemic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and Alzheimer’s. Her proactive approaches empower, encourage, and change lives. She is passionate about what she does because it comes from her heart. Often, she greets her clients with a hug because in turn, her clients make a difference in her life.

You will see Xuan-Thu on the slopes skiing, hiking a mountain trail with her life-partner and dog, cycling in Tahoe, world traveling, wine tasting, making real authentic connections with friends and family, and living her life to the fullest. Her moto is to make each moment count positively.
